We hope you find the following useful.

If there’s anything you’d like to know that isn’t answered here please don’t hesitate to contact us.

How do I book?

You can email us at enquiries@franchis.co.uk or just call us on 01326 240301. We also now have an online booking system which you can access from our home or booking page.

How do I pay?

When you book with us you will receive an automatic confirmation email with log in details allowing you to pay online. We also accept debit card payments over the phone (credit card payments are subject to a 2% surcharge). If you’d like to pay by BACS (our favourite) then we can email you our bank details. I’m afraid we no longer accept cheques.

How far is the nearest bus stop?

The number 37 stops every 2 hours about 1 mile away, opposite Mullion (Parkdean) Holiday Park. Unfortunately it is not practical to walk to as the road is narrow with no verge to step onto. If you want to use the bus we recommend driving to Mullion or Lizard and leaving the car there, where there is plenty of free parking.

Can we walk to a beach from your park?

The nearest beach is Poldhu which is about 3 miles away. It’s a good sized sandy beach with a shallow stream running down the middle. There is a large car park, cafe & loos and there are lifeguards at busy times. There are number of beaches to choose from, all just a short drive away.

Can we walk to a pub/restaurant from your park?

The Wheel Inn is about half a mile away but the walk to it is along a very narrow, winding and undulating road so we recommend you jump in the car. There are two good pubs in Mullion and Lizard village and many more dotted around the peninsula which we’re sure you’ll enjoy exploring.

How far is the nearest shop?

There is a good Spar (with bakery) and Costcutter in Mullion (about 2.5 miles away) and Tesco, Sainsburys, Lidl and Co-op can be found in Helston (5 miles away). There is also a small (quite pricey) shop at the large Parkdean park about a mile’s drive away, on the way to Mullion.

Can we request a specific pitch?

Outside of busy times (Whitsun & school summer holidays) you will usually be able to choose your pitch on arrival but if you mention a preference at the time of booking we will always do our best to reserve that for you. At busier times we always allocate pitches before your arrival so it is essential that you tell us if there’s somewhere you particularly want to go. We can’t guarantee it’ll be available but we will do all we can to accommodate your wishes.

What time can we arrive?

Pitches are ready from 1.30pm. Bungalows are ready from 4pm. Outside of school holidays you may be able to arrive earlier but its always best to check with us first. We have no waiting area so we do ask that if you decide to drive through the night you go and have some breakfast before calling.

What time do we have to leave on our last day?

Pitches should be vacated by 10.30am and bungalows by 10am. If the park is quiet you should ask us as you may be able to stay on your pitch a little longer but no later than midday.

Do you lock the gate at night?

The park is accessible at all times but we ask that you always consider you neighbours, especially if coming in after dark. Lights and noise should be kept to a minimum.

Do you allow campfires?

No but you’re very welcome to bring chimineas or metal fire pits but we do ask that you don’t burn wood simply because of the smoke created. All fires and BBQs need to be raised off the ground please; we provide various bricks to help you.

Can we have a barbecue?

Yes, please do but just make sure its off the ground. We have bricks you can borrow if you need them.

Can we have visitors?

You’re welcome to have guests if you mention it to us first but please bear in mind that in busier times we may ask that any extra cars are parked elsewhere on site.

Can we bring our dog?

Well-behaved dogs (2 at the most and just 1 in high season) are welcome but must be kept on a lead no longer than 2 metres at all times. All dog mess must be picked up immediately and disposed on in the dog bins provided. We have a dog exercise field and ask that you walk your dog there only and not around the rest of the park.

Do you have Wi-fi?

Yes, the whole park is covered by Club Wi-Fi. Prices start at £3 for 2 hours and become better value the more you buy with £15 for a week and £25 for a month. You can find all the prices on their website at http://www.clubwifi.co.uk/price-lists/4578871384

How much is the laundrette?

Its £4.50 for a wash and that takes about half an hour. The driers are £2 for half an hour.  If you need change please just ask.

Do you have a children’s play area?

Although we don’t have a dedicated area with swings, slide etc we do have a lot of safe green space.
